Full-time LPN, Clinical Assistant/Scheduler Home Health Full-Time Internal Transfer Date Deadline:

Basic Purpose:
Assists with Home Health and Hospice referrals, incoming calls and other general clinical administrative duties. The Clinical Assistant is responsible for scheduling all disciplines for home health and hospice visits, insurance verification, and any other authorizations needed for patient care. Will also provide administrative support to the Clinical Managers.
Education/Licensure/Experience:
Must be a graduate of an accredited program/school for practical nursing. Must hold a license as an LPN with the MS State Board of Nursing or an approved compact state licensure in which they reside. Have working knowledge of medical terminology. Experience in a Home Health or Hospice setting is desirable. Must have a valid license to operate a motor vehicle and have auto liability insurance.
Language/Communication/Organizational Skills:
Demonstrate knowledge of appropriate skills for communication with all ages, especially the geriatric population and those with diverse cultures. Ability to assess data reflecting the client's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each client's requirements relative to their age-specific needs.
