Overview:
Licensed Practical Nurse needed for a 13-week contract in Penn Run, PA. Position supports behavioral health services focused on substance abuse and detox. Start ASAP. 12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week.

ASAP Minimum Requirements:
Active, unrestricted LPN license in Pennsylvania Current CPR/BLS certification Prior experience in behavioral health, detox, psych, or rehab preferred Ability to recognize withdrawal symptoms and behavioral escalation Strong communication, observation, documentation, and patient-support skills
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor patients undergoing alcohol and drug detoxification Observe, assess, and report withdrawal symptoms and behavioral changes to RN/clinical team Administer medications and PRN treatments per orders Provide basic nursing care and emotional support to patients Assist with intake, admission, and discharge processes Implement and maintain patient safety measures, including observation and risk monitoring Accurately document patient care, observations, and interventions Follow behavioral health protocols, safety guidelines, and infection control standards Communicate effectively with RNs, providers, and interdisciplinary team members Maintain a therapeutic, structured environment conducive to recovery
