LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including a Level I Trauma Center, geriatrics, and pediatric care. The LPN will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective patient care. Responsibilities Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments. Provide basic life support and emergency care as needed. Assist in the assessment of patients, including vital signs and medical history. Deliver care to patients with diverse needs, including those with disabilities and geriatric patients. Support toddlers and young children during examinations and procedures. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations. Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, or surgeries in the operating room (OR). Administer injections and perform other nursing procedures as required. Utilize sonography techniques when necessary for patient assessments. Qualifications Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice. Experience in a Level I Trauma Center or similar high-acuity environment is preferred. Familiarity with geriatrics and pediatric care is highly desirable. Proficient in medication administration and basic life support certification. Experience administering injections is a plus. Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities and diverse populations. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
