2 Manor Blvd, Mifflintown, PA 17059 Brookline Nursing & Rehab is seeking skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being and comfort of our patients while adhering to all healthcare regulations and protocols. Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs): Perform routine nursing tasks, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with procedures Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks or Athenahealth Ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures Administer injections and medications as prescribed by the healthcare provider Assist with wound care, including suture removal and dressing changes Perform basic life support measures in emergency situations Qualifications of the Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs): Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license 1 year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a healthcare setting CPR certification (Basic Life Support) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Walk-in Interviews Welcome Monday to Friday between 10a-4p!
