Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information
• Assist with patient examinations and procedures, such as spinal taps and dermal fillers
• Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing
• Assist with sterile processing of medical equipment
• Provide care for infants, toddlers, and patients of all ages
• Utilize electronic medical record systems such as Cerner and eClinicalWorks
• Perform basic IV therapy

Requirements:

• Valid LPN license in the state of Connecticut
• Knowledge of nursing principles and practices
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with infant care and toddler care is preferred
• Familiarity with sonography procedures is a plus
