Variable Nights Job Summary:

Provide compassionate nursing care to long-term care residents during night shifts, including medication administration, resident monitoring, and support of daily clinical operations in a skilled nursing environment.

Requirements:

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required Long Term Care (LTC) or skilled nursing experience preferred Strong medication administration and clinical documentation skills Ability to work night shifts and adapt to facility needs Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently in a long-term care setting No scheduling restrictions required

Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to LTC residents per care plans and physician orders Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately Monitor resident conditions and report changes to RN/physician Maintain accurate documentation and charting Assist with admissions, discharges, and resident assessments Ensure compliance with infection control and facility policies Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Promote resident safety, dignity, and comfort during night shifts
