Whether working in long-term care, acute care, or community settings, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your skills while enjoying the autonomy of managing your own schedule. This position is ideal for motivated nursing professionals eager to contribute their knowledge across various healthcare environments. Duties Provide comprehensive patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and physiological evaluations to ensure accurate clinical data collection. Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and perform catheterizations following strict aseptic techniques and medical documentation standards. Manage airway maintenance, ventilator support, and perform basic life support procedures in emergency situations with confidence and precision. Document all patient interactions thoroughly using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for discharge planning, case management, and coordination of post-acute or hospice care services. Conduct diagnostic evaluations including specimen collection/processing and assist with medical imaging procedures when necessary. Support patients with complex needs such as dementia care, Alzheimer's care, trauma recovery (Level I & II trauma centers), infectious disease management, and pediatric or neonatal care. Qualifications Valid LPN or RN license with current state licensure; additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) Demonstrated proficiency in EMR/EHR systems including PCC Experience working with diverse patient populations including individuals with developmental disabilities, memory impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease, and those requiring acute pain management. Excellent patient assessment skills combined with compassionate communication to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.
