LTS Staff Accountant II

Welcome to Love's! Retail Accounting is seeking a skilled Staff Accountant II to join the Love's Truck Solutions Accounting team, responsible for managing daily accounting operations and identifying opportunities for process optimization and enhancement.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

: Complete journal entries. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, identifying key trends or variances. Prepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations and workpapers, taking further action when necessary. Support in the preparation of deliverables for operations and communicate supporting information. Complete various regulatory filings. Use independent judgment in developing enhancements to the efficiency and effectiveness of tasks, reports, or other procedures. Understand the Company's reporting systems and processes. Build productive working relationships with other accounting departments and operations. Other duties assigned as needed.

Experience and Qualifications:

HS Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in accounting typically required.

Experience:

2 years of related experience.

Skills:

Hard skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office with strong emphasis on Excel.

Soft skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to make decisions under pressure and meet strict deadlines, excellent time management skills, detail-oriented, ability to multitask and be a team player.

Typical Physical Demands:

Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping. Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator. Requires normal range of hearing and vision. ,
