Lube and Tire Technician

Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills in a fast-paced environment, working with a variety of vehicles and automotive systems. The Lube Technician will be responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance services efficiently and accurately, ensuring customer satisfaction and vehicle safety. Duties Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and basic vehicle inspections using hand tools and power tools Conduct fluid checks and top-offs, including transmission fluid, brake fluid, and coolant Assist with tire services as needed Use diagnostic tools to identify basic mechanical issues and communicate findings to service advisors Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure tools are properly stored after use Assist in vehicle maintenance tasks such as brake inspections, belt replacements, and other minor repairs Assist with service writer as needed Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance or repairs when appropriate Support the team with general maintenance tasks to keep the shop running smoothly Requirements Prior automotive experience or automotive repair background preferred Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Experience with oil changes, tire service, and vehicle maintenance procedures Service technician experience is highly desirable Ability to lift heavy loads regularly and perform physical tasks associated with automotive servicing Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude Basic understanding of automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail Valid driver's license required; clean driving record preferred This position offers an engaging work environment for individuals passionate about automotive service and repair.
