Job Description

Position Summary:
As a Lube Tech/Oiler, you will be responsible for the lubrication and maintenance of various machines and equipment within our industrial plant. Your role will be critical in ensuring that all machinery operates smoothly, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine lubrication and oiling of industrial machinery and equipment according to established schedules and procedures. Inspect and monitor equipment for signs of wear, leaks, or other issues, and report any concerns to the maintenance supervisor. Maintain accurate records of lubrication activities, including the type and amount of lubricant used. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Assist with basic maintenance tasks and repairs as needed. Ensure all lubrication tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored. Collaborate with the maintenance team to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in industrial maintenance is a plus. Previous experience in a similar role within an industrial setting is preferred. Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with lubrication systems and practices. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Willingness to work flexible hours, including potential overtime, as required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Capability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods. Comfort working in various industrial environments and conditions.
