Lumber Yard Associate - Crosslake

Join Our Team in the Yard! We're looking for a dependable, safety-focused Yard Associate to join our building materials team. If you enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and helping customers and contractors get what they need, this could be a great fit for you. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same - you'll assist customers, pull and load orders, operate equipment, and help keep our yard running safely and efficiently.

PPE What We're Looking For Education:

High School Diploma or GED Experience (Preferred): 6+ months forklift experience 6+ months experience in building materials, construction, retail, or related industry

Skills & Abilities:

Strong customer service and communication skills Basic math skills and ability to complete forms accurately Ability to safely lift and handle heavy materials Basic computer skills (MS Office and general computer use) Class D driver's license with clean MVR (preferred) Physical & Work Environment This is an active, outdoor position.

Candidates must be able to:

Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs Team lift items over 75 lbs Stand and walk for extended periods Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach overhead Work in all weather conditions Operate forklifts and yard equipment Work around dust, noise, uneven ground, and varying temperatures If you prefer a desk job, this isn't it.
