Make the difference you were born to make in our organization! We are hiring an LVN Charge Nurse to join our Elmwood Care Center!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Render nursing care to community members within an assigned unit. Observe and report symptoms and conditions of residents. Take and record temperatures, respiration and pulse. Administer medications and IVs prescribed by physician and record any reactions. Set up treatment trays, prepare instruments and other equipment, accompany and assist physician with treatments. Assist in administering highly specialized therapy with complicated equipment. Maintain records reflecting community member's condition, medication, and treatments. Assume responsibility for proper care of complicated apparatus used in treating community members. Supervise the feeding of community members. Maintain a working knowledge of resident's condition at all times. Review reports from previous shifts to determine changes in status of residents and assign duties to nursing personnel. Responsible for notifying Director of Nursing Services (DON) and/or Administrator of changes in patient condition or other job-related problems.

JOB SPECIFICATION

Full Time PM Shift | 3:00pm-11:00pm Due to California State regulations, we are required to have all our applicants pass a Background Check, Physical, and a TB test.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
