LVN - Corrections Nurse

Now hiring a qualified LVN / Licensed Vocational Nurse with corrections and/or acute care nursing experience in Beeville, Texas!

Corrections LVN Pay:

$2,226 weekly gross working 48 hours $1,696 weekly gross working 36 hours Weekly Direct Deposit Every Friday Benefits Available; Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K Plus Travel Bonus to assignment

Schedule and Timeline:

36/48 rotating schedule 12-hour Night shift 13-week direct contract with a high potential to extend Now hiring for June and July start dates!!

Corrections LVN Job Details:

Examine patients in the correctional environment, evaluate their response to treatment, and monitor their progress. Provide mental health and emotional support for inmates and when necessary, refer them to appropriate mental health resources. Assisting the Physician/RN with exams and treatments. Sick call with a Physician to see inmates. Prep inmates to be examined/prep exam room and equipment. Pill pass, dispensing medications, and required documentation. Control medications and syringes in inventory as required.

Corrections LVN Qualifications:

2+ years of corrections or acute care nursing experience Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing TX or Multistate LVN license. AHA BLS certification. Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills Patient-oriented IV Therapy Certification
