You should be able to multitask, type at least 25-30 wpm and have great verbal communication. The duties will consist of triaging patients and assisting the provider in procedures, scheduling appointments, ordering supplies, and the ability to be cross-trained in other tasks. You must have a High School diploma or equivalent, Medical Assistant Certification, and Current CPR certification. High school or equivalent
REQUIRED
May need to travel between offices in Corona, Riverside, and Moreno Valley Responsibilities Preparing patients for examination by triaging and accurately documenting patient information, medical history, and vital signs Assisting providers with examinations, procedures, and patient care Communicating professionally and effectively with patients, staff, and providers Answering high-volume multi-line telephone systems and scheduling patient appointments Cleaning, sanitizing, and preparing medical instruments and exam rooms daily Updating and verifying patient charts, medical history, and documentation as needed Administering medications and immunizations under physician supervision while following proper medication administration protocols, including right patient, time, drug, dose, and route Ordering and maintaining medical supplies and materials as needed Reporting concerns, issues, or operational needs to the Lead promptly Performing additional clinical and administrative duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience in the medical field preferred Medical Assistant Certification required Current CPR Certification required High School Diploma or equivalent required Typing proficiency of at least 25-30 WPM Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask efficiently Professional demeanor with a strong commitment to patient-centered care
