Job Description
Description Application deadline: Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis Amazon created one of the most sophisticated supply chains in the world. From the introduction of Amazon Prime to the use of advanced technology for package delivery, Amazon consistently drives change from the front of the pack. As a Sub Same Day [SSD] Operations Engineer, you will lead and manage the lifecycle of challenging cross-functional projects. You are a customer-obsessed leader who will play an integral part in the planning and execution of facility infrastructure for new builds, retrofits, expansions and program initiatives. Project management and internal/external stakeholder management skills will be essential. Key job responsibilities
- Plan, direct, supervise and control the execution of all business, technical, fiscal and administrative functions of the assigned project.
- Partner with customers and internal/external teams to ensure timelines and deliverables are met.
- Monitor and report on the progress of all project activity including significant milestones and conditions which would affect project cost or schedule.
- Solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks before they become roadblocks.
- Manage project budget and approve all purchase orders.

- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- Ability to travel up to 80% Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with and managing third party vendors
- Experience with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing
