MACHINE REPAIR -MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Metropolitan Baking Company is hiring immediately for a Maintenance Technician at our facility in Hamtramck, Michigan. This position requires the technical skills to: Evaluate Troubleshoot Repair and install bakery and food processing equipment. Mechanical, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, basic electrical and refrigeration knowledge Maintain conveyors and physical structures. Preventative Maintenance Position Start time 3:30 PM In addition, the Maintenance Technician must possess an awareness and understanding of how to work safely on Mechanical and Electrical equipment in a high speed production environment.

Qualifications:

1 year related experience, and/or licensed journeyman of a skilled trade.
