Shift:

M-F 7-3:30, with occasional OT What's a typical day as Metal Manufacturing Machine Operator? You'll be: Setting up, operating, and maintaining metal fabrication machines such as presses, shears, rollers, CNC machines, and lathes Reading and interpreting blueprints, work orders, and production drawings to ensure accurate production Measuring and inspecting finished products to ensure they meet exact specifications Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting equipment issues as needed Maintaining a clean and organized work area in accordance with strict safety standards Recording production data and promptly reporting any material or equipment issues Collaborating with team members and supervisors to consistently meet production goals This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Have 1 to 2 years of experience in metal manufacturing, preferably in the metal roofing and siding industry Possess previous experience with machine setup, calibration, and operation Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities Are adaptable, safety-focused, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Can read blueprints, follow safety procedures, and perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, and divide with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals) Are physically capable of standing for extended periods, working in non climate-controlled environments, and lifting up to 70 pounds What happens next Once you apply, you'll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
