Duties include reading blueprints, programming machines, inspecting parts for tight tolerances, and working with proprietary tooling for critical applications such as those in the medical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum systems industries. Key responsibilities Set up and operate CNC and manual lathes. Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and process plans. Program and edit CNC programs. Use precision measuring instruments to inspect parts and ensure quality. Work with specific materials such as stainless steel, Inconel, and titanium. Machine parts to meet tight tolerances and specific surface finishes. Operate specialized tooling for applications like milling internal threads instead of tapping. Required skills and experience Strong mechanical knowledge. Experience with CNC lathes and manual lathes. Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
