Job Description

Job Overview:
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating various machines including but not limited to manual machines, lathes, milling machines, threading, and CNC to produce precision parts according to specifications. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
 Set up and operate manual machines such as milling machines, lathes, and grinders  Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders  Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, bore gauges, and calipers to ensure accuracy of finished parts.  Preform machining operations including drilling, turning, milling, and grinding.  Inspect finished parts for quality and make necessary adjustments.  Assemble components using hand and power tools.  Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.  Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience  Highschool diploma or GED equivalent is required.  3 years' experience in operating milling machines, lathes, grinders and other manual machines is required.  Proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)  Strong knowledge of manual machining techniques and processes.  Experience writing G programs for 3-5 axis milling centers is a plus.  Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and bore gauges.  Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.  Ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively.  Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.  Knowledge of Fanuc programming is preferred but not required.  Effective written and verbal communication skills.  Lifting to 50 pounds 978-544-3100 IND_orange
