Machine Operator

Career Start is currently seeking machine operators in Baldwinsville, NY. Preferred candidates will have previous manufacturing, warehouse or hard labor experience. The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating machinery to create high-quality paperboard cartons for brands such as Tide, Jimmy Dean, Doritos, and others! There are 2 shifts available:

Day Shift:

6 am to 6 pm

Night Shift:

6 pm to 6 am

Pay and Benefits of Machine Operator:

$18.50 to $20/hr

Responsibilities of Machine Operator:

Safely load and unload raw materials, in-process stock, and finished products onto and off various machines and equipment. Operate finishing machinery, including feeders, packers, palletizers, and stretch wrappers, to ensure smooth production. Assist with unloading and preparing materials for printing and die-cutting operations. Operate powered pallet trucks to efficiently move materials and finished products around the facility. Follow strict inspection guidelines to ensure products meet quality standards, and make minor equipment adjustments as needed to maintain consistency. Help prepare equipment for production runs by participating in setup and make-ready tasks.
