Job Description

  • Only qualified Machine Operator candidates located near the Columbus, Nebraska area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence
  • Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Ability to maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area
  • Willingness and ability to train others
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Basic organizational and detail-oriented skills
  • English communication skills requiredResponsibilities
  • Work as part of a team to support production inspection equipment, operation, material movement, and cleaning activities
  • Perform visual inspections
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment
  • Perform changeovers line clearance and cleaning
  • Achieve production rate and quality goals on assigned equipment
  • Support continuous operation of equipment during breaks
  • Perform rework activities as needed
  • Cross-train within the department to support business needs
  • Maintain all quality and GMP standards
  • Perform SAP data entries
  • Use microscopes calipers and other gauges as required
  • Participate on assigned blitz teams
  • Achieve established production goals
  • Ensure product quality standards are met
  • Perform quality checks as designated
  • Process SAP and MES transactions for the department
  • Assist in identifying root causes through the BDA process
  • Maintain compliance with all required document training
  • Operate production lines safely and efficiently
  • Reduce downtime and complete tasks efficiently
  • Maximize productive time usage within the department
  • Perform other duties required to support business needs
