Machinist

Job Summary Hurtt Fabricating has an exciting new career opportunity and is accepting applications and resumes for machinist position on our Prep side. We are seeking candidates who are highly motivated, have a strong work ethic, and enjoy working in a hands-on, team environment.

The machinist:

Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion. Communicates with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials Can continuously stand 7.5 to10 hours and occasionally lifts up to 100 pounds Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus. Applicants must be dependable, punctual, and safety-oriented. All applicants offered a job will be drug tested.

From $17.00 per hour
