GED 5-10

years of manufacturing experience with CNC equipment Full understanding of setup and operation in at least two machining fields, including mills, chucker lathes, Swiss lathes, grinders, wire EDMs, or similar equipment Ability to perform simple to complex CNC setups and machine operation Ability to read blueprints Knowledge of GD&T Complete knowledge of G and M codes Ability to troubleshoot CNC programs and machine operations Ability to manage multiple setups and operate multiple machines at one time Preferred Skills CNC programming experience Ability to edit CNC programs Experience operating CMM equipment Experience with tooling maintenance Experience training employees on CNC processes Job Responsibilities Perform simple to complex setups and operation of conventional, special-purpose, and CNC machines and machining centers Fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts using machine shop theory, shop mathematics, material machining knowledge, and layout techniques Fit and assemble machined parts into complete units Run multiple setups and operate multiple machines simultaneously Set up and operate machines on trial runs to verify accuracy of machine settings against programmed control data Troubleshoot CNC programs and machine performance issues Support tooling maintenance activities Train employees on machine setup, operation, and required processes Ensure required processes are completed to produce parts that meet quality and ISO standards Operate CMM equipment as needed

Pay:
