Job Description

This role is part of Eddyfi Technologies. We produce and ship products for our Remote Monitoring Solutions product line and ET/UT Solutions product line. For more information about our product line: https://sensornetworksinc.com/ The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. The Machinist manufactures quality machined parts from drawings, meeting required tolerances and specifications, and optimizing production quality and efficiency. As a Machinist, you must be able to: Operate CNC machinery to manufacture quality parts (HAAS,Mill and HAAS Lathe) Manually machining and manufacturing quality precision parts (manual lathe and mill) from various materials to specified size and shape, based on Work Order, drawings and specifications provided by Engineering department Hold tolerances per drawings and work orders Determine proper tools, speeds and feeds per order. Plan the sequence of cutting and finishing operations. Monitoring and maintaining machinery and tools; troubleshooting as required Completing required documentation Inspect the machined product; correct any defects Set up, and adjust CNC machines, program when required Clean and maintain equipment, and log per standard operating procedure Support workplace safety Support continuous improvement and quality objectives regarding machine shop procedures and practices Write basic programming and modify existing for machines We value transferable skills, different career paths and learning agility.
