  • 2nd Shift Dayton, OH Noise, Vibration, and Harshness Division Engineered Materials Group Parker Lord's Dayton facility manufactures passive vibration mounts for commercial and military aerospace applications.

Our core competencies include machining and rubber-to-metal bonding, and we hold multiple industry and aerospace customer certifications, including AS9100 and NADCAP. Position Summary Machine aerospace components to required quality standards at expected production levels by following all required processes and instructions Qualifications Operates mills and lathes to perform basic machining functions while obtaining additional skills and knowledge including the ability to perform successful setups, troubleshooting, etc. Will train effectively to machine aerospace components to required quality standards at expected production levels by following all required processes and instructions Completes necessary paperwork and documentation to ensure quality conformance and the proper movement and control of product Completes all quality related inspection requirements Actively participates in High Performance Teams and Continuous Improvement activities Adheres to all safety guidelines and procedures Other assignments as required Understands and demonstrates comprehension of drawings, blueprints and Manufacturing Work Instructions Must be detail oriented to keep accurate records and notes. Demonstrates respect for others and the training process Demonstrated ability to solve technical problems with limited information Able to communicate effectively with management, and co-workers to promote strong working relationships and create an environment focused on teamwork Flexible with work and job assignments and willing to perform any function as needed Must be dependable and available to work overtime when required Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook Self-motivated and ability to work effectively and efficiently with limited supervision Willingness to work 2nd shift Ability to carry/ lift up to 35 lbs. (50% of the time). Must have the ability to stand, kneel, squat, stoop, use fingers and hands to feel, lift or handle tools, parts and equipment. Required Minimum 1 year of CNC machining experience, formal education or a combination of education and experience 2 + years of machining experience and or education preferred Preferred Education Required High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred Formal training and/or education in
