Cannabis Extractor - Full-Time (Training Provided)

$20-$21/hour (based on experience, with review after 90 days) About the Role We're seeking a full-time Cannabis Extractor to join our team in Veguita. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing cannabis flower, operating extraction equipment, and ensuring product quality in compliance with New Mexico state regulations. If you're mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, we're willing to train the right person. Key Responsibilities Prepare cannabis flower for extraction (logging batches, destemming, breaking down frozen biomass). Operate extraction equipment, including filling with solvent and cleaning/drying after each batch. Inspect machines for operational integrity and ensure cleanliness between runs. Conduct visual inspections of raw plant material and finished products for quality. Report discrepancies and perform quality checks. Follow standard operating procedures and maintain accurate inventory records. Uphold safety standards, including proper use of PPE and prevention of cross-contamination. Maintain organization and cleanliness in the processing area. Communicate clearly with team members and provide daily updates. Help with Fulfillment and Packaging Requirements Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Comfortable working in a team environment and independently. Basic math skills and ability to use a scale. Strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies. Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining a positive attitude. Proper grooming and appropriate work attire (including shoes with good grip). Must be 21+ Reliable transportation and commitment to excellent attendance. Preferred Qualifications 1-2 years of experience with Hydrocarbon, CO₂, or Ethanol extraction (not required). Background in HVAC, electrical work, or machinist experience is a plus. Knowledge of cannabis extraction concepts and market trends. Work Environment & Safety Must be comfortable working in a lab setting with exposure to solvents and varying temperatures. Strict adherence to OSHA standards, company safety protocols, and Oregon cannabis regulations. Training provided for safe handling of extraction equipment and chemicals.
