Full-time, Temp-to-Hire potential About the Role Kelly Services is seeking a Mailroom Technician to support a local client in Detroit Lakes, MN. This role is ideal for candidates who are mechanically inclined and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You'll set up, operate, and monitor production equipment to ensure accurate preparation, packaging, and distribution of printed materials. Responsibilities Setup, adjust, and operate mailroom equipment (inserters, stackers, plastic wrap machines, bottom wrappers, strapping/tiering equipment) Ensure accurate inserting, labeling, sorting, and packaging of printed products for distribution Operate inkjet labeling systems for addressing and variable data needs Use powered equipment (electric pallet jacks) to transport printed materials and finished products Monitor equipment performance and product quality; make adjustments as needed Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area per company standards Follow safety policies, including OSHA regulations and lockout/tagout procedures Meet production deadlines while maintaining high quality and attention to detail Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Prior mailroom, manufacturing, or commercial printing experience is a plus, but not required Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn and operate complex machinery Basic computer skills and the ability to navigate machine interfaces/input data Ability to read and interpret job tickets, safety guidelines, operating manuals, and instructions Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under deadlines Effective communication and teamwork skills Apply Today!
