ay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Job description: Maintenance Technician Consolidated Forest Products, LLC Lumber Remanufacturing Plant North Alabama We are hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician for our lumber remanufacturing and treating facilities. This position is responsible for keeping plant equipment running efficiently through repairs, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting. Pay & Schedule $20 - $25 per hour (based on experience) Full Time - 40 hours per week Responsibilities Welding and torch work for equipment repair Maintain and service saws and remanufacturing equipment Set up and adjust saw systems Service and maintain forklifts and plant equipment Perform general plant maintenance Assist with basic electrical and plumbing work Follow and maintain a preventative maintenance program Troubleshoot mechanical problems and minimize downtime Requirements Maintenance experience required Welding experience required Strong mechanical ability Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred Dependable and safety-minded Benefits Blue Cross/Blue Sheild Health Insurance Canopy Vision Insurance Southland Dental Insurance Simple IRA Retirement Plan Paid Time Off (PTO) If you have strong mechanical skills and experience maintaining plant equipment, we would like to talk with you.
