Job Description
If you're an experienced Aviation Maintenance Technician with expertise in turboprop aircraft, The Blackhawk Group is seeking your talent to join our dynamic team in Wasilla, AK. This vital role supports our aircraft maintenance operations by performing routine maintenance, diagnosing and repairing faults, and ensuring all components meet industry safety standards. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining the high-quality standards that our clients rely on. - Perform routine maintenance updates on various aircraft systems and accessories.
- Conduct regular maintenance tests and checks to ensure all components are fully functional.
- Test aircraft safety and install replacement parts as needed for damaged or faulty components.
- Maintain detailed reports and logs of inventory and completed work.
- Diagnose and efficiently resolve faults in aircraft systems.
- Stay updated with the latest industry advancements and technological developments.
- Understand and adapt to changes in aircraft components and systems. Required Qualifications and Skills
- A & P License, preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in aircraft maintenance, with strong expertise in King Air 200 and 350, Beechcraft 1900, Pilatus PC-12, Caravan 208, and Kodiak aircraft.
- Knowledge of precision tools and computerized equipment used in aviation repairs.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
- Ability to lift and handle equipment weighing up to 75 lbs. Competencies
- Demonstrates exceptional character and professionalism.
- Experience working with sheet metal and composite materials.
- Familiarity with Citation aircraft.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and advancements in the aviation industry.
