Job Description

Aircraft Maintenance Technician (A&P Mechanic) Sirius Talent Solutions is partnering with an industry-leading aerospace and defense organization to identify an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly skilled maintenance team supporting advanced aircraft operations in a stable, long-term environment.
Location:
Mobile, AL Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday
  • 6:00 AM-3:30 PM or 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
  • Occasional overtime as needed

  • PTO and Holiday Pay Accrual Position Summary The Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance, repair, servicing, troubleshooting, and inspections on aircraft systems in accordance with FAA regulations and approved maintenance data.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring aircraft safety, reliability, and airworthiness while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. Responsibilities
  • Perform aircraft maintenance in accordance with FAA-approved data and company procedures
  • Troubleshoot, repair, service, and maintain aircraft systems and components
  • Complete maintenance documentation accurately and in compliance with FAA requirements
  • Read, interpret, and implement technical manuals, drawings, and maintenance instructions
  • Utilize proper tooling and ensure calibrated equipment is used when required
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Follow OSHA regulations and all company safety policies
  • Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support the production of safe and airworthy aircraft Requirements
  • Current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
  • Prior avionics experience
  • 5-10 years of aircraft maintenance experience
  • Strong understanding of FAA maintenance practices and documentation requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and maintenance data
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder Preferred Qualifications
  • Training in Airframe and Powerplant with emphasis on Structures and Composites
  • Turboprop aircraft experience
  • Military or defense aviation experience
  • Spanish language skills Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, squat, climb, and work in confined spaces
  • Manual dexterity and ability to safely utilize maintenance tools and equipment
