A&P Mechanic Job Description As an A&P Mechanic, you will perform part 135 phase maintenance primarily on corporate and private aircraft. You will respond to AOG calls locally within 30 minutes of different airports, with most work conducted on-site. Your role includes scheduled maintenance throughout the year for customers, conducting in-house phase inspections, addressing squawks, and occasionally generating log book entries. You will receive prepared work orders and work independently to complete tasks, interacting with owners and customers to update them on the status of their aircraft. Responsibilities Perform part 135 phase maintenance on corporate/private aircraft. Respond to AOG calls within 30 minutes to local airports. Conduct scheduled maintenance throughout the year for customers. Perform in-house phase inspections and address squawks. Generate log book entries as needed. Complete work orders independently. Interact with aircraft owners and customers to provide updates. Essential Skills A&P certification. 3+ years of maintenance experience focused on corporate/private airframes. Experience with Lear, Textron, King Air, Beechcraft, Bombardier, and Falcon aircraft. Ability to work independently. Additional Skills & Qualifications Must have own tools. Experience researching maintenance manuals after phase inspections. Ebis software system experience is a plus. Engine run and taxi experience preferred. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is a non-climate controlled hangar, with typical hours from 7 AM to 4 PM and AOG duties on weekends as needed. Efforts are made to minimize weekend work. Currently, there are typically about two mechanics assigned per plane. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springdale, AR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
