Position Summary Davcor Aviation Services is seeking an experienced Aircraft Wash Manager to oversee aircraft washing operations while leading and developing a team of Aircraft Wash Technicians. This position is responsible for ensuring aircraft are cleaned, serviced, and preserved in accordance with company standards while maintaining a safe, efficient, and productive work environment. The Aircraft Wash Manager will oversee daily operations, coordinate staffing and workflow, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and provide hands-on leadership in a safety-sensitive aviation environment. Principal Accountabilities Supervise and lead Aircraft Wash Technicians during daily operations Schedule and coordinate aircraft wash activities based on operational requirements Ensure aircraft and aircraft components are washed using approved high-pressure wash systems and procedures Oversee pre- and post-wash lubrication activities Verify proper installation and removal of protective covers and vent tape prior to washing Coordinate aircraft movement using approved towing procedures and ground support equipment Ensure proper operation and maintenance of aircraft washing equipment and support equipment Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met Maintain compliance with Foreign Object Damage (FOD), Hazardous Waste, Tool Control, and company safety programs Conduct safety meetings and reinforce safe work practices Train, coach, and mentor Aircraft Wash Technicians Monitor employee performance and provide ongoing feedback Ensure required documentation and operational records are completed accurately Maintain adequate inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment Coordinate with maintenance, operations, and customer representatives as required Obtain and maintain required company and government licenses for ground support equipment Perform hands-on aircraft washing duties as operational needs require Perform other duties as assigned Knowledge & Skills Strong leadership and team management skills Knowledge of aircraft washing procedures and preservation techniques Familiarity with aircraft towing and ground support equipment Working knowledge of aviation safety programs including FOD and Tool Control Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to prioritize multiple aircraft and staffing requirements Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous aircraft washing or aircraft maintenance support experience required Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred Valid driver's license Ability to obtain required ground support equipment certifications Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and overtime as required by aircraft schedules Work Environment & Physical Requirements Requires standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods Frequent climbing, bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, kneeling, lifting, carrying, balancing, and reaching above shoulder level Ability to push or pull up to 70 pounds Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity Requires close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus Requires hearing within normal ranges May require the use of a respirator Exposure to hangars, flight lines, maintenance facilities, and outdoor work environments Exposure to aircraft noise, weather conditions, temperature extremes, wind, rain, and direct sunlight Required to wear personal protective equipment and safety gear Ability to safely operate aircraft ground support equipment, tugs, tractors, and high-pressure wash systems Why Join Davcor Aviation Services?
