Description:
Role Overview Provide maintenance support services as a member of assigned team. Directly responsible for the execution of the work allocated by their team leader. To ensure that all work is performed in an efficient and effective manner and to a high-quality standard. Adhere to aviation industry and TAE requirements. To assist in ensuring all compliance obligations are met in a timely and accurate manner. Identify areas for improvements in efficiency and effectiveness Ensure all tasks performed comply with all required work standards, including, but not limited to, quality, durability, reliability and in a timely manner. Ensure all transactional activity relating to work performed is recorded within the ERP (company maintenance software IFS or Corridor). Maintain good housekeeping and ensure work area is kept clean and tidy.
Skills and Experiences:
Essential High School Diploma or equivalent Technical training (preferred) Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate (preferred) Minimum 3 years trade experience in relevant field. Knowledge and experience of airworthiness rules and regulatory requirements. General knowledge of and experience in all aviation maintenance practices involved with maintenance, repair, and overhaul. Demonstrated experience in Information Technology packages such as Microsoft Office suite and ERP systems. Mechanical knowledge with hands on experience and understandings of measuring and calibrated tooling use. Experience working with both manual and automated tools and equipment. Understand and apply workings from simple technical drawings and manuals. Flexible to learn new skills, with the ability to retain and apply new information. Ability to work as part of a team in a flexible environment. Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and customer service. FAA/DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing Program This position is subject to the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) drug and alcohol testing regulations as outlined in 49 CFR Part 40 and Part 120. As part of our compliance with these regulations, candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test prior to starting work. Employees in safety-sensitive positions may also be subject to random, reasonable suspicion, post-accident, return-to-duty, and follow-up testing as required by law. Participation in and adherence to our DOT/FAA drug and alcohol testing program is a condition of employment.
