Job Description

Join the HeavyAero Team HeavyAero Maintenance Center Corp. provides highly skilled aviation maintenance professionals to airlines, MROs, leasing companies, and aerospace organizations throughout North America. We are currently seeking experienced FAA-certified A&P Technicians to support heavy maintenance, line maintenance, modification, and special project assignments across multiple aircraft platforms and customer locations. Responsibilities As an A&P Technician, you will: Perform aircraft maintenance, preventive maintenance, repairs, and alterations in accordance with FAA regulations and approved technical data Remove, install, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft systems and components Conduct functional checks and operational testing Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, engineering documents, service bulletins, and task cards Complete maintenance documentation accurately and in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements Support heavy maintenance visits, line maintenance activities, aircraft modifications, and special projects Maintain compliance with FAA regulations, customer procedures, and company safety requirements Work collaboratively with inspectors, avionics technicians, structures technicians, planners, and customer personnel Maintain a clean, organized, and FOD-free work environment Minimum Qualifications FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required Minimum 3-5 years of aircraft maintenance experience Previous experience in an FAA Part 145 Repair Station, airline maintenance environment, or heavy maintenance facility Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English in accordance with FAA requirements Working knowledge of aircraft maintenance manuals, IPCs, AMMs, service bulletins, and FAA regulations Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Computer proficiency and experience using electronic maintenance documentation systems Must possess or be able to obtain all customer-required security clearances and badges Preferred Qualifications Heavy maintenance experience Line maintenance experience CRJ, Embraer, Airbus, Boeing, or transport-category aircraft experience Military depot, phase, or isochronal maintenance experience Familiarity with maintenance tracking systems including CAMP, Trax, AMOS, Quantum, or RAMCO Structures, avionics, or modification experience Previous customer-facing contract maintenance experience Compliance Requirements FAA and DOT Drug & Alcohol Screening Compliance Criminal Background Check Human Factors Training Hazardous Materials (HazMat) Training EWIS Training Preferred Tool Control Program Compliance Schedule & Compensation HeavyAero offers a variety of project assignments and schedules, including: Day and Night Shifts 12-Hour Shift Opportunities Overtime Opportunities Travel Assignments Per Diem Opportunities (where applicable) Travel Assistance (where applicable) Compensation is competitive and based on experience, aircraft qualifications, certifications, assignment scope, and customer requirements.
