We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support our supply chain operations, with a strong focus on MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) inventory and parts fulfillment. Position Overview The Shop Mechanic (Engine & Accessories) will assist with aircraft inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities while working under the supervision of experienced maintenance technicians. This role supports safe and efficient aircraft operations by ensuring maintenance tasks are completed in compliance with FAA regulations, company standards, and safety procedures. What You'll Do Aircraft Maintenance & Repair Assist with inspection, maintenance, repair, and servicing of aircraft and aircraft components Support assembly and disassembly of aircraft systems and parts according to maintenance manuals and technical specifications Perform routine preventive maintenance and operational checks Assist senior mechanics in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues Utilize precision measuring instruments and diagnostic tools to ensure compliance with specifications Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and ground support equipment Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Ensure all work is performed in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and company procedures Follow all workplace safety standards and maintenance protocols Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Field Support & Team Collaboration Participate in field maintenance assignments and off-site service work as required Collaborate with maintenance team members to complete scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks Communicate maintenance findings, repair status, and operational concerns clearly and professionally Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, maintenance efficiency, and operational reliability What We're Looking For FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification or currently in progress is a PLUS! Basic knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures, aviation tools, and safety practices Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills and technologies Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance documentation Experience using hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and power tools preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing, bending, and standing for extended periods Must be capable and willing to perform field work and travel as needed Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings Preferred Qualifications Previous aviation maintenance, mechanical, automotive, or technical experience Familiarity with CMMS or maintenance tracking systems Experience working in fast-paced or safety-sensitive environments
