Job Description

Adventure Air is one of the leading gyroplane flight training and maintenance facilities in the United States, specializing in modern light sport aircraft and Rotax-powered aircraft. We provide flight training, maintenance, aircraft sales, and aviation experiences for customers from across the country and internationally. We are currently seeking an entry-level aviation mechanic, Light Sport Repairman, or IRMT (Independent Rotax Maintenance Technician) candidate to join our growing operation at Chino Airport. This is a probationary, part-time contract position designed to evaluate long-term fit, professionalism, work ethic, and technical capability. Candidates who demonstrate strong performance and align well with our company culture may be offered long-term employment opportunities. Responsibilities Assist with inspections and maintenance on gyroplanes Perform Rotax engine maintenance under supervision as needed Help maintain maintenance records and shop organization Assist with troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems Support fleet maintenance operations and aircraft turnaround Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment Follow FAA regulations, manufacturer guidance, and company procedures Preferred Qualifications Interest in aviation maintenance and light sport aircraft Rotax maintenance training or IRMT certification preferred Light Sport Repairman certificate is a plus A&P students or license holders encouraged to apply Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Positive attitude and willingness to learn Position Details Part-time contracted position Flexible scheduling possible Entry-level candidates considered Probationary evaluation period required Opportunity for advancement based on performance and company fit
