Line Service Technician

Del Monte Aviation is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Line Service Technician . We provide ground services to privately owned, corporate, and commercial aircraft.

Tasks include:

Marshalling aircraft Unloading baggage from planes Driving fuel trucks Refueling planes Using a variety of ground service equipment This is a fast-paced position working mainly outdoors. Full time compensation includes great benefits including on-going training and professional development, bonuses, tip income, free healthcare and retirement plan with company matching funds.

Pay Scale:

$18.00/hr

• $20.

00/hr New Line Technicians start at $18/hr with opportunity for a pay increase within 3-6 months upon successful completion of training. Del Monte Aviation is located at 100 Sky Park Drive next to the Monterey Regional Airport.

Qualifications:

• -This position is subject to federal background check requirements, including those mandated by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Employment is contingent upon meeting all applicable federal eligibility requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 years consistent work experience
• Strong mathematical skills for accurate fuel calculations
• Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues
• Professional verbal communication skills
• Great customer service abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Must be safety conscious and able to follow established SOP's
• Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain airport security clearance in accordance with TSA and FAA regulations.
