Aircraft Appearance Technician

Responsibilities If you join our team as a technician, your main responsibilities will include:

Applying dry polish to the exterior of the aircraft to prevent corrosion. Polishing and buffing the aircraft to leave a clean and finished shine. Using lift equipment to reach highersections (areas) of the aircraft's fuselage and tail.

This opportunity is especially ideal for college students, or as a second job. All positions start at $22.51 per hour. Starting pay will be higher if you have a current SFO AOA/SIDAbadge. Qualifications No previous experience necessary, we train you.

No driver's license required but recommended. Government sponsored photo ID a minimum. Must prioritize safety to the top of your workplace practices.

Must be able to obtain a United Airlines Maintenance Operations Center (MOC) badge.

Must pass a ten-year background check and pass a computer-based training program to obtain an airport security ID badge (AOA/SIDA).Must be able to lift, stand, bend, twist, push and pull objects frequently.

Must be a team player, reliable, conscientious and detail oriented.

Must be able to work in a range of environmental conditions, including rain, cold, strong sunlight and decreased visibility. No prior experience or driver's license necessary. Government sponsored/ issued ID a minimum.
