Full Job Description Helicopter A&P Technician Location:
Englewood, CO Quick Facts:

Full-Time | Direct Hire | Permanent W2
Position Schedule:
40 hours/week. Highly flexible based on team needs—options include standard 5x8s or a highly desirable 4x10 shift structure (enjoy a 3-day weekend!).
Hourly Pay:
$33.00 - $43.00 / hour (Negotiable based strictly on General Aviation rotary maintenance experience).
Overtime & Premium Pay:
Paid overtime availability is often required. Rotational weekend work and AOG (Aircraft on Ground) support are scheduled at a premium rate.
Relocation Assistance:
Available and negotiated on a case-by-case basis for out-of-town candidates.
Tool Policy:
Mechanics provide their own basic hand tools; all specialty tools are provided by the shop.
Factory Training:
OEM/Factory training is offered to qualified applicants to continuously upgrade your skills.

Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Helicopter A&P Technician to join a premier, fast-paced General Aviation (GA) maintenance operation in Denver. While the rest of the facility handles our robust fixed-wing fleet, this critical role is dedicated exclusively to the maintenance, safety, and growth of our specialized helicopter division. Our target rotary fleet currently features premier platforms including the Robinson R44, Airbus AS350B, and Bell JetRanger . This role reports directly to the Director of Maintenance (DOM) and offers immense long-term career growth. The right candidate will join a collaborative, tight-knit shop at an exciting time as our team aggressively drives toward Part 135 certification .
Key Responsibilities Rotary Maintenance:
Perform top-tier scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and component overhauls exclusively on GA helicopters (Robinson, Airbus, Bell).
Inspections:
Conduct and sign off on 100-hour and annual inspections in strict compliance with FAA regulations (14 CFR Part 43 & 91).
Diagnostics & Troubleshooting:
Diagnose complex mechanical, hydraulic, powertrain, and electrical/avionics discrepancies.
Technical Compliance:
Read and accurately interpret maintenance manuals, Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and technical drawings.
Structural & Avionics Support:
Perform minor structural sheet metal repairs and assist with basic avionics/radio tracking system troubleshooting.
Logistics & Readiness:
Accurately document all maintenance actions in tracking systems. Participate in rotational weekend coverage and AOG response support to keep the fleet flight-ready.
Minimum Qualifications Licensure:
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License (Required).
Experience:
3+ years of dedicated experience maintaining General Aviation helicopters.
Specific Type Experience:
Deep, hands-on experience with Robinson R44, Airbus AS350, or Bell 206 JetRanger systems.
Inspection Proof:
Proven experience successfully completing and signing off on helicopter inspections.
Regulatory Knowledge:
Solid working knowledge of FAA regulations (14 CFR Part 43 & 91).
Tools:
Must provide your own basic hand tools.
Mindset:
Strong documentation skills, a high level of professionalism, and a safety-first attitude. Preferred Qualifications Inspection Authorization (IA): Possessing an IA license, or being fully qualified and ready to obtain an IA, is a massive plus. Part 135
Knowledge:
Previous experience working within or supporting a Part 135 environment.
Avionics & Sheet Metal:
Advanced electrical troubleshooting or light structural repair experience.
