Job Description:

Airframe and Powerplant Technician:

FAA Part 145 Repair Station aircraft maintenance technician performing troubleshooting, repairs, services and maintenance on helicopters and airplanes ensuring compliance with FAA regulation and documentation requirements.

Position Requirements:

• Candidate must possess an FAA Airframe and Powerplant License
• Must possess exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail
• Must be a problem solver and able to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve maintenance issues on a variety of helicopter and fixed-wing platforms
• Legally able to work in the US, able to obtain a US Passport and willing to travel as required
• Required to pass drug screening and background investigation

Job Requirements:

Complete inspections, repairs, component changes, and accompanying documentation in accordance with manufacturer and FAA approved procedures Conform to quality control standards, maintenance schedules, and compliance with FAA regulations Maintain all necessary records and logbooks including aircraft certification in the permanent maintenance records approving aircraft returned to service Review and complete work orders assigned to return aircraft to service Other duties as assigned

Cognitive Requirements:

Ability to read and understand technical documentation, technical drawings, and schematics. Knowledge of aviation maintenance technical procedures and best practices. Understanding of FAA regulations and documentation processes. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues IAW established procedures and in compliance with FAA regulations. Must possess motivation, initiative, and accountability to expedite maintenance professionally while prioritizing multiple tasks required throughout the workday.

Preferred Experience and Training:

• Military and/or civilian aviation technical schooling
• Helicopter maintenance experience
• FAA Part 145 Repair Station experience
• Minimum of five years military or commercial aviation experience

Salary Range:

$55,000-$65,000 based on experience and qualifications
