Job Description

AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - KDAB JOB DESCRIPTION
Perform scheduled 100 hour, Annual / Phase Inspections, Avionics Installations, T/S and Repairs on various customer's aircrafts at our 23,000 SF Hangar Maintenance Facilities in Daytona Beach International Airport. Perform ocassionally AOG mx on-call for the major airlines and corporate aircraft operators. Answer 24/7 incoming maintenance calls and provide immediate response of 30 minutes when on duty or on call. Perform routine maintenance and airworthiness releases returning aircraft to service. Responsible for servicing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft, aircraft engines, and associated components. Troubleshoots system(s); disassembles, repairs, and reassembles sections and components to maintain full functioning equipment according to technical data provided by the customer. Effectively performs work to meet deadlines and performance goals. Properly complete all necessary paperwork in accordance with the air carrier and aircraft operators, Clear2Fly Aerospace and FAA requirements. Complete work orders for parts and billable time. Maintain work area, tools and vehicles in clean and safe working conditions. Collaborate with the air carrier maintenance control center. Work will be performed on various Airline, Corporate and GA aircraft, including but not limited to the Airbus 220 and 320, Boeing 737, CRJ, EMB, Learjet, Citation, Hawker, Phenom, Global Express and Gulfstreams and various general aviation aircraft.
GENERAL DUTIES
Read and interpret maintenance manuals. Attend periodic safety and station meetings. Attend required initial and recurrent training sessions. Other duties as assigned by station Manager or Lead.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Valid and current FAA A&P certification. Valid Driver License with clean record. Must be able to obtain an airport SIDA badge (pass criminal and DOT background check). Must be flexible and willing to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. 2 years of aviation maintenance experience preferred on the Learjet, Citation, Phenom or Hawker aircraft. GENFAM on the Learjet, Citation, Hawker, Global Express and Gulfstream aircraft will get you a
HIGHER PAY RATE.
Knowledge of computers and electronic software applications. Positive attitude towards productivity, safety and quality maintenance. Good communication and great customer skills (verbal, written and radio). Possession of an adequate set of aircraft mechanic's hand tools. Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50lbs, bend, stoop, crawl, and kneel frequently in confined spaces. Good vision and depth perception. Must be able to climb and work from ladders, work stands, and other heights. Must be able to work as a part of a team in a high-stress, fast-paced environment. Must be a self-starter, able to work with little to no guidance. Must be a highly motivated, detail-oriented, organized, with the ability to multi-task. Must already be authorized to work in the United States and show evidence. Must meet the recent experience standards set by 14 CFR 65.83. Must reside within 30 minutes from the mx station airport. Amount of travel required - Up to 40% to other airports.
REASONING/PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists at remote airports. Capable of interpreting a variety of multiple instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Must be able to remain calm, think and react quickly in all types of emergency situations.

Able to process information quickly and react in a positive manner during unexpected and/or serious situations. Capable of controlling personal and emotional responses and acting appropriately under high levels of stress.
COMPENSATION
Competitive pay based on previous experience and formal training. Yearly raises are available upon evaluation.
Full time:
PTO and Vacation. 2 week paid days off the first year 1 week paid days off for paternity/maternity leave $2,000.00 signing or relocation bonus for qualified candidates
