Job Description

A&P Mechanic - Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Job Description:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, inspections, and repairs on airframe and powerplant systems. Conduct 100-hour, annual, and phase inspections in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer guidelines. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and determine corrective actions. Remove, install, and repair aircraft components including engines, landing gear, flight controls, and accessories. Complete maintenance logbook entries, work orders, and documentation accurately and in compliance with FAA requirements. Ensure all work meets company quality standards and safety procedures. Work closely with maintenance supervisors and other technicians to ensure aircraft are returned to service efficiently and safely. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Assist with aircraft ground handling and operational support as required. Support AOG (Aircraft on Ground) maintenance situations when needed.

Job Requirements:
alid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic Certificate required. Minimum 2-3 years of aircraft maintenance experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, IPCs, wiring diagrams, and service bulletins. Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude. Excellent attention to detail and safety practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Aircraft Experience:
Gulfstream aircraft (GIV, GV, G550, G650) Bombardier Challenger series (300/350, 600/604/605/650) Bombardier Global series (5000, 6000, 7500) Embraer Legacy and Praetor series Dassault Falcon series (900, 2000, 7X, 8X) Cessna Citation series (CJ, XLS, Sovereign, Latitude, Longitude) Hawker/Beechcraft series (400XP, 800XP, 900XP) King Air series (C90, B200, 350) Pilatus PC-12
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in confined spaces, on ladders, and around aircraft components. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods.
