  • Full-time Thrust Tech Accessories, is a
FAA/EASA
Part 145 Repair Station. Located in Fort Lauderdale next to FL Executive Airport supports a wide range of rotary and fixed wing components found on both executive and regional platforms around the world. Thrust Tech is recruiting Entry Level Mechanical Engineering Positions who will provide support to the Engineering department by drafting blueprints, modifying evaluation/work order routers and new product development projects. Duties Develops repair process using manufacturer's maintenance manual, customer requirements or drawings.
  • Conduct research and analysis to determine the feasibility of designing aircraft component parts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of mechanical components into larger systems
  • Create detailed engineering drawings, models, and specifications using CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor
  • Utilize knowledge of GD&T principles to ensure proper tolerancing and fit of mechanical components
  • Conduct testing and evaluation of prototypes to validate design performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure efficient production processes and resolve any issues that arise during manufacturing Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, theories, and concepts
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor for mechanical design
  • Familiarity with metrology tools such as calipers, micrometers, CMMs, Etc.
  • Knowledge of system design principles for integrating mechanical components into larger systems
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, models, and specifications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
