Jacksonville, FL The Sr. A&P Mechanic IA is responsible for performing advanced maintenance, inspections, and repairs on piston aircraft in a maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) environment. This role requires strong experience in general aviation, the ability to work independently, and Inspection Authorization (IA) privileges to perform and approve inspections. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul on piston aircraft systems and components Conduct annual and progressive inspections in accordance with FAA regulations Approve aircraft for return to service under Inspection Authorization (IA) privileges Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical discrepancies and determine corrective actions Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and technical data Remove and replace aircraft components as required Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all maintenance performed Work independently in a fast-paced MRO or shop environment Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area all safety procedures and company guidelines Other duties as assigned Competencies To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Adaptability

  • Diagnoses and resolves mechanical issues efficiently Summary of Education, Experience & Certification High School diploma or equivalent required.
