Full Job Description TIC Aerospace:

Current valid FAA-certified Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic License (A&P License) or enroleld in an A&P program OR 2 years of aviation or relevant maintenance experience in lieu of formal educational program High school diploma or GED 2 or more years of work experience in an aviation repair station or equivalent, including structural repair, heavy maintenance, airframe, and line maintenance experience Proficiency in reading/researching aircraft technical data, as required (practical exam to be given) Fluent in English Must be authorized to legally work in the United States. Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport security badge through the local airport authority. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must be able to frequently stand, walk, climb, balance, bend, or crawl, occasionally from heights in precarious places. Must be able to frequently lift, push, and/or carry items up to 60 pounds. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be able to collaborate and work effectively in a team setting.Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors or Associates Degree from an Accredited Institution in Engineering Conversational or higher proficiency in Spanish Experience in corporate aviation maintenance Experience working for or directly supporting a Part 145 Repair Station Experience in avionics Experience in Approved Aircraft Inspection Programs (AAIP)/ Aircraft Reliability Support Experience in analyzing aircraft systems' performance to support changes to aircraft maintenance programsPrimary Duties:
Perform assembly, disassembly, and repairs required in the completion of aircraft overhaul, repair or modifications, including but not limited to removal, replacement and repair of aircraft parts, engines, wheels, brakes, and airframes, in accordance with FAA Regulations. Test and implement avionics systems and products based on specifications; repair and maintain avionics systems, as needed. Responsible for performing A&P maintenance, as well as assisting other licensed mechanics with set up and tear down of the equipment, tools and supplies used during the repair process. Assist in the cleaning of parts and components during the repair and assembly process. Responsible for administrative duties related to the repair and assembly process. Must be available and willing to work night and weekend shifts, sometimes with short notice, when needed.Job Type:
