Job Description:
Job Title A&P Mechanic - King Air 350 ISR Modification Program Position Type Contract (6-8+ Months) Position Overview SkyBridge Aviation is seeking experienced A&P Mechanics to support a specialized Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) modification program on King Air 350 aircraft. This program involves former EMARSS aircraft and focuses on first article modifications to integrate advanced mission systems. This is a unique opportunity to work on a highly specialized platform where modifications have not been performed before. The work includes structural integration, system installations, and modification support while ensuring full airworthiness and compliance with FAA standards. Key Responsibilities Aircraft Maintenance and Modification Support Perform maintenance, inspections, and modifications on King Air 350 aircraft in support of ISR system integration Assist with installation and removal of aircraft systems, components, and structural elements Support structural modification efforts including installation of brackets, doublers, belly rails, and mission system components Inspection and Troubleshooting Conduct routine and non-routine inspections in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures Troubleshoot aircraft systems including electrical, mechanical, and avionics interfaces related to ISR integration Identify discrepancies and determine appropriate corrective actions Technical Data and Documentation Read and interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, and maintenance documentation Ensure all work is performed in compliance with FAA regulations including 14 CFR and
AC 43.13
standards Accurately document maintenance actions, discrepancies, and corrective work performed System Integration Support Work closely with structures, avionics, and engineering teams to support mission system installations Assist with routing, securing, and installing components related to ISR equipment and workstations Support modification efforts including de-modification and re-modification as required Quality and Safety Compliance Ensure all work meets quality standards, safety requirements, and airworthiness criteria Perform functional checks and assist with operational testing of installed systems Maintain a clean and organized work environment Required Qualifications Minimum 5-7+ years of experience as an A&P Mechanic Hands-on experience working on King Air 350 aircraft required FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License required Strong understanding of aircraft systems, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques Ability to read and interpret technical data, schematics, and maintenance manuals Experience supporting modifications, heavy maintenance, or special mission aircraft is highly preferred Must have own tools (etched, shadowed, and compliant with program requirements) Preferred Experience Experience supporting ISR, special mission, or military modification programs Familiarity with King Air EMARSS or similar platforms Experience working alongside engineering teams on modification programs Background in both maintenance and modification environments Work Requirements Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as required Must be able to pass background check, drug screening, and medical screening Must be a U.S. Citizen Schedule Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM Overtime available based on program demand Assignment Duration 6-8+ month contract assignment with potential for extension Why SkyBridge Aviation Weekly payroll (every Friday after first week worked) W-2 employment Overtime paid at time and a half & per diem split available Benefits available including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)
