The Aircraft Detailer supports aircraft presentation, cleanliness, and operational readiness through interior and exterior aircraft cleaning, detailing, and preparation activities. This role supports customer experience, maintenance events, aircraft deliveries, and return-to-service activities while assisting with general operational and facility support as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILTIES
Perform interior and exterior cleaning and detailing of aircraft in accordance with company standards and approved procedures Prepare aircraft for maintenance events, customer deliveries, demonstrations, and return-to-service activities Support aircraft washing, polishing, vacuuming, cleaning, and appearance restoration activities Assist maintenance technicians and aircraft operations personnel with general operational support activities as required Support aircraft towing, repositioning, and ground movement activities in accordance with company procedures Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, detailing supplies, equipment, and facilities Support safe handling and use of cleaning products, equipment, and materials Adhere to company safety policies, environmental requirements, and applicable procedures Support additional operational and facility activities as assigned Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED preferred Previous aircraft detailing, automotive detailing, facility maintenance, or general labor experience preferred Aviation industry experience preferred Basic understanding of aircraft cleaning materials, detailing equipment, and safe handling procedures preferred Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a fast-paced operational environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills Ability to work flexible schedules, overtime, weekends, or holidays as operationally required Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, work from ladders or stands, and work in confined spaces What We Offer 11 paid holidays a year, plus 15 days of paid vacation time, and 6 days of paid sick/personal time to start with an increase to 20 days of paid vacation time after 5 years with Pilatus 90% of medical, dental, and vision premiums paid for single coverage and 80% for family coverage, averaging $9,600 annually Monthly health savings account (HSA) contributions totaling $2,250 for single coverage and $3,000 for family coverage annually 401(k) retirement plan matching up to 6% Life and long-term disability insurance premiums paid in full Tuition assistance available annually after the first year The pay rate for this position is $19.00 - $22.00 per hour depending on experience. Pay rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
