Lead Aircraft MX Technician - GE90 FSM (Engine Shop)

Reports To :
Engine Shop Supervisor
POSITION PURPOSE
The purpose of this position to ensure proper supervision due to the FSM workload.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Working with assigned crew to ensure projects achieve quality work on time and budget. Ensuring company and FAA procedures are being followed. Ensuring that productivity and budgets are satisfactory. Monitoring personnel for attendance and performing evaluations of crewmembers. Keeping a safe, clean workplace at all times. Recommending improvements needed to increase performance, quality, etc., to the Supervisors. Reporting any problems affecting projects to the Supervisors. Ensuring that personnel are following instructions and performing tasks in a safe, efficient manner. Ensuring that waste materials, oils, fluids, etc., are handled correctly. Performing other duties as required/requested by the Supervisor. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
Must hold a high school diploma or G.E.D Must have an A&P or P license. Must have a valid U.S driver's license. Must be able to read and interpret technical data/manuals
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to give verbal and written direction to assigned staff.
QUALIFICATIONS

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
