General Aviation A&P Maintenance Technician Buffalo, MN 55313 $26 - $32 an hour $26 - $32 an hour Day in the life at West Metro Aviation Join our Buffalo, Minnesota team and bring "air show-level" precision to every aircraft you touch. As a General Aviation A&P Maintenance Technician, you'll start your day reviewing incoming work orders and prioritizing scheduled and unscheduled tasks. From annuals and 100-hour inspections to troubleshooting squawks, you'll ensure every job aligns with FAA regulations and our uncompromising standards for quality and safety. What you'll handle Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance on a range of general aviation aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards. Complete scheduled and unscheduled work, including annual and 100-hour inspections, system diagnostics, and component repairs. Deliver results that meet West Metro Aviation's "air show-level" quality expectations with meticulous attention to detail. Accurately document all maintenance activities to satisfy FAA compliance requirements. Collaborate with teammates to move projects forward efficiently while upholding craftsmanship and safety. Keep your bay and shared spaces clean, organized, and safety-focused. Stay current on industry best practices and regulatory updates, continuously sharpening your technical skills. What you'll bring Current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate. At least 2 years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience. Strong mechanical aptitude coupled with proven troubleshooting capability. Working knowledge of FAA regulations and maintenance documentation practices. Ability to operate independently when needed and excel as part of a team.
