Job Description:

A Line Service Technician is a vital member of the Thunderbird Aviation team, you will be required to follow and comply with all aviation safety rules and regulations and holding down an array of duties related to general servicing of aircraft. Ramp Duties include greeting, parking, towing, moving, and marshaling aircraft arriving and/or departing, assist with wing walking duties and cargo operations. As well as providing exquisite service to the crew, passengers and clients. Perform daily fuel/delivery system quality assurance checks and fuel aircraft as needed. Customer Assistance include assisting passengers and/or crew with their baggage/cargo, making sure the customers are always left satisfied with their experience at Thunderbird Aviation. Maintenance Duties include Lavatory and water services, providing oil for aircraft, keeping the ramp, building and customer areas clear from debris. Cleaning/maintenance of the facilities and vehicles owned/leased by the company, all around general cleaning. Lawn care and snow removal. Being a valuable team player means you are able to work independently and as part of a team, you must have the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities/fast paced environment. You must be able to work scheduled hours including days, evenings, nights weekends and holidays and perform other duties assigned to you by your supervisor or manager. You must be willing to do things outside of the job description to assist other company departments if and when needed.

Physical Demands:

This position will require you to be in good physical shape as this job involves frequent standing, bending, lifting, pulling and pushing, you will regularly be lifting weight of 50lbs and working at heights is required. The ability to work with toxic chemicals, fumes and loud noises with proper protection. It is Minnesota weather so you must be able to work outside in those extreme temperatures.

Qualifications:

High School or GED Strong customer services skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Mechanical aptitude preferred, but not required A clear driving record for the past 3 years is preferred, but not required Previous related job experience preferred, but not required
